What is your favorite video game soundtrack?
what is yall's favorite video game soundtrack?

I don't have a definite favorite OST, but i have a lot of favorites. Ill list some here. (Spoilers so the videos wont take the whole page )

Starting on a high note, Hitman Contracts. The soundtrack is just impeccable.

(4:33 is just... SO FUCKIN GOOOOD)

Another high note is Hitman Blood Money. On the same level as Contracts.

Hitman Codename 47 and Silent Assassin also have a fair share of good tracks.

Rest of the Hitman titles have an ok-ish soundtrack (outlier is absolution since i havent played it), but Hitman 2016 also has a few good quality tracks.

Moving on from Hitman, we have Splinter Cell. The first one to be exact.

Another Splinter Cell title, Pandora Tomorrow. As a fun fact, this game was supposed to have the 1st game's composer, but things somehow got twisted and we got a new one.

Yet another, but a critically acclaimed one, Chaos Theory. This is where the fun begins!
I'm listing the whole soundtrack here because it's THAT amazing. It's on the same level as Contracts.


Double Agent. A less critically acclaimed game in the franchise due to one of the WORST pc ports in decades to come, but still has a really good soundtrack.

(this level was supposed to have 3 parts, but it got cut into a bonus mission if you have the good ending.)

Notice how all of the OST's are from stealth games.

the sonic mania soundtrack is really good. i have the whole album crammed onto my 5th gen iPod Video (running rockbox)

Sonic music is super good. Knuckles chaotix is has a super great soundtrack and the soundtrack for sonic R is obviously amazing too. The sonic mega collection ost is super nostalgic for me.

assassin's creed 1 has great OST
the chase theme really tells you it's time to FUCKING RUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUN

It's a tie between the Hollow Knight soundtrack and the World of Goo soundtrack for me. The latter is actually free too so go get it right now.
