Not to flex, but I think I have at least one of every (non-rare) console at this point lol. Funnily enough I don't even consider myself much of a collector, I've mostly just gradually accummulated it over the years to make YT videos (e.g. the only Gamecube I have is the Japanese one I bought for this video).

- Anything older than NES. That's about as old as I go for whatever reason.
- Nintendo Famicom (I only have a US NES shown in this video)
- Sega Master System. This may be blasphemous to some, but I've just never been super interested. I do have a US Genesis, and I've heard Power Base Converters are just passive adapters, so maybe I could try making one of those one day?
- Sega 32X (if only these were still $2.50 like they were 15 years ago lol)
- TurboGrafx-16/PC Engine
- Neo Geo
- Anything Commodore (PET, VIC-20, 64, Amiga, etc.)
- Anything Atari (2600-7800, Jaguar, Lynx, etc.)
- Super Nintendo Entertainment System. Never really had a video idea for these, and whenever I've looked, these are always either really expensive or in really poor shape.
- Xbox One. But to be fair, many people don't have these.
- PS5/Xbox Series X|S or anything later. I don't really play a lot of modern games, and when I do, I usually play them on PC. We'll see if something piques my interest later on.

But we are likey going to get a xbox one s (not to be confused with the series s (man that is a stupid naming scheme)) purely to play 4k blu rays in the living room. as a cheap xbox is cheaper then the cheapest uhd bluray player.

Maybe this question is not fair if you ask people who are refurbishing/repairing video game consoles.
I have two boxes of SNESs and a box of Gameboys (DMG-01, Colors and a few Advance), because I am focusing on 90s consoles atm.
But my favorite console/handheld is the Odroid Go Advance. Does an emulator collection even count as a console/handheld?

I spent about 30 dollars on the 2DS and 6 (w/o counting controllers) on the Wii.
I'd say I got a pretty decent deal on the 2DS, as it was fully functional.

I've honestly never really been into console gaming, but my girlfriend talked me into buying a PS5 and I actually really like it. There's something wonderful about separating the work I do on my PC from the play I do on my console.
That said, I do have a PlayStation 2, an original PlayStation, a Sega MegaDrive and two SNESes (one European, one American) at my parents' house. Maybe one day I'll go get them.
