good to meet you virtually thanks for getting back I didn't want to get in to much detail straight away in case no one was interested! The good news is the bug is repeatable If seems to occur right before a cut scene when a video clip is supposed to play what makes it annoying from a preservation standpoint is the game only saves progress after this has been played so if you don't have save files you can't progress. i have gathered a proc mon log and event viewer log ( i can share if you like ) which initially pointed to a direct show codec but after removing the videos altogether the crash was still there a 000x5 exception after consulting ai it thinks the bug is in the cut scene initialization. I have gone as far as i can go without help.
