Ctrl + KI'd say you can post it, I doubt anyone's going to be chasing up the copyright for it.
I don't.
There are only 50 copies of the cartridge so better archiving it now than never...lol_xD wrote: ↑Tue Feb 21, 2023 6:14 pm I don't.
It's related to windows93.net, an ongoing thing that's still being made. At some point, the code for the base site was put online and the creator actually sent a DMCA to GitHub to have it taken down. To be fair it was backend code that got leaked through an exploit in the site, but the point is that given that the creator is alive and wel and no stranger to sending DMCAs, and this is a thing that was sold two months ago.
At the very least I would contact the creator before doing i-
oh you already did.
The ROM for the original version was made 3 years ago, a few months after the game's release.lol_xD wrote: ↑Tue Feb 21, 2023 6:14 pm I don't.

My mistake. Admittedly I didn't properly research what this was, I assumed it was one of those Chinese bootleg cartridges from the early 90s like this, not a paid homebrew made recently. In that case, it's probably safer not to have it up. I've hidden the post.lol_xD wrote: ↑Tue Feb 21, 2023 6:14 pm I don't.

Yeah I'm sorry about that. I'm all for software preservation but we have to be careful about abandonware vs stuff that's still officially supported by its publisher. It should be fine to post on archive.org and link here though.
I would love to see this one dumped!Upwader wrote: ↑Mon Feb 20, 2023 11:29 pm I own this game-boy game
There are only 50 copies of it available world-wide
"Windows93 Adventure DX"

There are no dumps available on the internet, and i am looking to fix that.
I am looking for a cheap dumping device or some way of plugging this cart into a DS lite somehow.
I've gotten in touch with a couple of people (including a local retro game store) but no luck yet.
This is the only forum i know (which is alive) that could probably help me out on this.
I have attached an image to prove ownership of the cartridge.

Sorry about my handwriting. I know it's very poor. Feel free to make fun of it or something.
